About Tim Furnish
Design, photography, music, and technology have never felt like separate pursuits to me — they've always informed one another. I'm a multidisciplinary designer, photographer, musician, and technical consultant based in Louisville, Kentucky, and for more than 25 years I've helped businesses, startups, nonprofits, and artists turn ideas into visual experiences that feel intuitive, engaging, and memorable.
Most recently, I spent nearly six years at AdaptivEndo, where I combined graphic design with rapid prototyping, 3D printing, product photography, technical documentation, and website development. Working alongside engineers and researchers sharpened my ability to bridge creative thinking with technical problem-solving.
Alongside that, I've operated Tim Furnish Design since 2007, collaborating with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to local nonprofits — including Amazon/Zappos, Yum! Brands, Greater Louisville Inc., Great Meadows Foundation, Wiltshire on Market, Speed Art Museum, Louisville Magazine, and OrionRx.
Music runs just as deep. I'm the founder and guitarist of the instrumental group Parlour, co-founder of the Louisville noise-rock band Crain, and currently play bass with Palomina. That lifelong engagement with music led directly to Seethings, my ongoing live visual project exploring the relationship between sound, motion, light, and technology through real-time visuals, projection mapping, and interactive media — where the design and music sides of my work fully merge.
